Terms and accessibility
General information
The content on this website is general and educational. It is not clinical advice and is not a substitute for an assessment by a qualified professional.
No therapist-client relationship
Using this website, or sending an email to the practice, does not create a therapist-client relationship. That relationship begins only after intake is complete and treatment has been agreed.
Emergencies
This website and email are not monitored for emergencies. If this is an emergency, or you are thinking about harming yourself, call 911, call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or go to your nearest emergency department.

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. Content on this site belongs to Lazar Clinical and may not be reproduced without permission.
Accessibility
Our target
This website is built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What that includes
Text and background colors meet contrast requirements. Every page can be navigated by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a link to skip to the main content. Headings follow a consistent order, images carry text descriptions, and motion is reduced when your device asks for it.
Third-party services
Scheduling and the client portal are provided by SimplePractice. Their accessibility is outside the control of this website, but barriers there can still be reported here.
Report a barrier
If something on this site is difficult to use, email michael@lazarclinical.com with the page and a short description. Responses within two business days.
